An identity project for Houzz’s successful Youtube series
I worked on the identity refresh for the MyHouzz Youtube series, to evolve and fit in with Houzz’s rebrand in 2018.
The Overview
MyHouzz is an in-house web series created and produced by Houzz. It aims to help celebrities revamp their loved one's homes by utilizing the houzz.com tools. The show not only features famous personalities and their passion for home design but also highlights the simplicity of home renovation with Houzz's tools. The series can be watched on YouTube and is also available on all Alaskan Airline domestic flights.
As the show gained popularity online, it became necessary to update the logo to align with Houzz's refreshed branding in 2018. Collaborating with the PR team, we established five key brand attributes that we wanted the series to embody: authenticity, seamlessness, attainability, warmth, and personalization. Using these attributes as guidelines, we presented three logo concepts and ultimately selected the speech bubble design.
